Fireworks and the 4th!

I love the summer…and when I was a kid the fourth of July fireworks were a signal that summer was in full bloom.  I want my kids to have the same experience…feeling the pride that comes from hearing Lee Greenwood sing “I’m Proud to be an American.”   Enjoying hot dogs, the sweltering heat, home made ice cream, and fireworks!  But where to go?  There really are a lot of options in Davidson County as well as surrounding areas.  I have to say I am not a big fan of crowds.  With Nashville on the map and being voted in 2013 by Yahoo Travel as one of the Top 10 cities to see fireworks.  I’m sure the crowds will be as booming as our bustling housing market.  I am impressed, and I love this city, and I love to hear quality music set to fireworks……and it’s just 10 minutes from the house.  Hum?

Maybe I can just have the kids stand on their tip toes and catch a glimpse over the tree line?  Or maybe Anthony and I would let us see them from the roof of the house?  OR should we brave the crowds!?

Either way….Yee Haw!  Nashville…and Happy 4th!
