Riverside Amphitheater making progress, makes progress for city
I was driving on the Vietnam Veterans War Memorial Bridge yesterday remembering when it used to be called “Shelby Bridge.” I was also remembering when the pedestrian bridge used to be a 2 lane driving bridge. My eye caught the progress being made on the Riverside Amphitheater on the banks of the Cumberland River. This outdoor music venue is just evidence that our great city is ready to continue to entertain tourists and locals with our first love- our music. I have to say, like a lot of people who moved here in the last 20 years, music was a draw for me. In the last 20 years I have attended outdoor concerts at places like the charming Woods at Fontanel, or the now obsolete Starwood Amphitheater. This new venue is well placed at the heart of our city and will sure to attract larger concerts series and promoters. In Nashville we love our guest and we love to show them a good time. My hope as I meet people is that we might even be able to convince them that living here is even better than visiting, and investing in real estate in Nashville is a smart move…. your heart and wallet will thank you!
